Fail-safe controller running standard and safety programs on one CPU, up to SIL 3.
Where it fits
Integrated safety rather than a bolted-on safety relay cabinet. Standard and fail-safe logic run on the same CPU with the same engineering tool, which removes an entire class of interface errors between the process program and the safety system. Suited to burner management, emergency shutdown and machine guarding where a separate safety PLC would duplicate wiring.
